ABOUT ALLISON

I'm a self-taught metalsmith who was raised along the shores of Lake Michigan in Highland Park, Illinois...where water, wind, and glacial stone shaped my sense of form, texture, color and time.  I grew up immersed in these natural elements that deeply influenced the way I approach metalwork...favoring organic forms, weathered surfaces, and a sense of quiet permanence.

Working intuitively, I create one-of-a-kind pieces using sterling silver, stone, and ancient materials.  My work is rooted in primitive and archaeological influences, often drawing inspiration from early adornment, ritual objects, and artifacts shaped by hand and environment rather than trend.

Each piece is forged to feel unearthed rather than made...and instead marked by time, grounded in the Earth, and carrying a subtle, enduring power.  These are adornments meant to be worn as objects of connection while honoring the slow beauty of the natural world and the stories held within it.
